Thursday May 27

The Ferrari Cup Challenge Event kicks off with registration and check-in at the Grove Park Inn [ www.groveparkinn.com]. This is an opportune time to enjoy the incredible spa facilities at the Grove Park. If you have never seen this spa you are in for something special. Unwind after your trip and re-energize before the festivities begin. That evening we will be holding a welcome wine and cheese party at the hotel. But don’t stay out too late……..

Friday May 28

Meet in the lobby of the GP for coffee before a group drive to the BMW Test and Performance Center for some fun on the track with new Bimmers. Experienced track instructors will give us some lessons in performance driving in the latest wares from BMW. At the previous FCC event the BMW track day was a huge hit with all drivers from the beginner to the experienced. Don’t miss out of this special treat.

We return to the Grove Park for a relaxed Friday evening with a relaxed and fun outdoor BBQ on the Sammons Terrace where we can trade track stories. Bench racing is permitted.

Alternate: For those that choose not to drive at the BMW test track this is another great time to enjoy the spa. Massages, facials, and many other special treatments are available for your relaxation. You don’t want to miss this luxury. Reserve your treatments ahead of time as they tend to sell out before the event begins.

Saturday May 29

Breakfast at the Biltmore and Drive the Mountains: We take an early morning drive to the Biltmore for a photo shoot in front of the Estate followed by breakfast at the Deer Park at Biltmore. We then depart for a great drive first through the scenic Broad River Valley. Then we head up into the mountains on our way to Hot Springs. This is great opportunity to stretch the legs on your Prancing Horse while taking in the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Sunday May 30

For those wanting a last blast join us for a coffee in the lobby of the Grove Park. From there we head out to the mountains again for a drive. This time we are taking a spirited drive to the beautiful home of John and Margaret Edwards. There they will graciously host a cookout and Turkish Grand Prix and Indy 500 Viewing Party. John has a spectacular garage with wide screen and surround sound for the race. It’s a great way to get a last bit of fun in the Ferrari Cup Challenge Weekend.
